The world needs green power.
World Energy GH2 offers a large-scale renewable energy site that is ready to decarbonize industries and power Canada’s AI needs.
Project Nujio’qonik is well advanced with environmental approval for the development of 2 GW of wind farms and a green hydrogen / ammonia plant; 108,000 hectares of Crown land secured for wind farm development.
Domestic uses for wind energy and green hydrogen are being explored, including green fuels, green steel and data centres.
Connecting to the world
We’re perfectly positioned to meet global demand.
We have the wind. The west coast of Newfoundland and Labrador is one of the best wind resource regions in the world with more than 11GW of wind development capacity in the project area.
We have the access. We own the Port of Stephenville, with deepwater marine facilities and a harbour ready for global export.
And we have the location. Newfoundland and Labrador offers one of the shortest shipping routes between North America and Europe, with potential for co-locating industries in Stephenville.
