World Energy GH2 strives to be a good neighbour and corporate citizen, practice sound environment and social governance, and create positive, long-lasting impacts in our communities.
Community Vibrancy Fund
The Community Vibrancy Fund is focused on supporting communities as they develop and maintain assets and activities that will help contribute to community vibrancy. This could include land stewardship initiatives, developing and constructing regional recreational facilities, enhancing community services, improving municipal infrastructure and other community-focused activities.
These investments will directly benefit the people of the area and will help communities thrive. Residents will see tangible improvements and initiatives in their region as a direct result of the Community Vibrancy Fund.

Request a donation
Only registered charities, not-for-profit organizations, school programs and community organizations in Newfoundland and Labrador are eligible.
Organizations seeking sponsorships or donations are encouraged to complete a request form.
Due to the high volume of requests, sponsorship and donation requests will be reviewed once each quarter (every three months).*
Requests will be reviewed in relation to World Energy GH2’s giving priorities (outlined above). Organizations that have received a sponsorship or donation from World Energy GH2 in the same calendar year will be considered after those who have not.
*At this time, no additional sponsorship/donation commitments are being made. Our sponsorship and donation program is contingent on completing environmental conditions and further engineering work. As we continue to work through this process, we will update our website with more information.
Partnerships
We are committed to Truth and Reconciliation Call to Action 92 and are working to ensure that Indigenous communities gain long-term, sustainable benefits from Project Nujio’qonik. We have signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Qalipu First Nation, and with the Town of Stephenville, and have begun capacity-building activities designed to leave a permanent legacy of prosperity and environmental excellence.
We have also provided scholarships to students accepted into the Wind Turbine Technician and Hydrogen Technician programs at College of the North Atlantic (Sept. 2023 intake).
