E-Fuels
E-fuels – fuels developed from renewable energy – can be used for the displacement of diesel in power turbine combustion, coastal community fuel, and marine industry fuel, significantly lowering greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.
The marine industry is transitioning from hydrocarbon-based diesel fuels to cleaner, green fuels, and the Port of Stephenville is the ideal location to test and develop these
processes and technologies.

Data Centres
The world needs green power, and data centres are one of the fastest-growing energy consumers in the global economy.
Our site in Stephenville is ideal for data centres as it offers scalable renewable energy, abundant land and fresh water, cool temperatures, an active industrial port, and area amenities include an international airport.
- World-class wind speeds
- 4 GW awarded wind farm area, 2 GW approved for development
